Math+Music

Making smart stuff cool and cool stuff smart…

Math+Music is an international public art series bridging the technical and creative spheres.  We use art and live musical performance to creatively explore technical, often mathematical, concepts. In doing so, we invite people to develop fresh insights, form new connections, and cultivate personal growth.

Since this project began in January, We have started a bimonthly residency with the National Museum of Mathematics in New York City, Published in Scientific American, Presented a Math talk and a musical performance at an private event in Hong Kong, Collaborated with Professors from Brown and Princeton, and given talks at NYC public schools.

We aims to harness the power of music to create space for learning - and in doing so, change the world. Our purpose is to foster curiosity, build community, and inspire as many people (and young minds) as possible to think outside the box.
